Since his university days, Zhen Leong has been passionate about business and finance, as well as how the law shapes and is shaped by them. He also actively follows financial news worldwide to enhance his commercial insight. To further refine his legal and analytical skills, he also actively participates in mooting competitions involving commercial law to develop his understanding of the business implications in the legal arena.

 

After graduation, he interned under a High Court Judge at the Kuala Lumpur Commercial High Court, where he gained insights into corporate and commercial disputes from a judicial perspective. He then trained at Messrs. Dennis Nik & Wong, a firm known for corporate and commercial litigation and corporate restructuring. There, he worked on several corporate restructuring matters, involving both schemes of arrangement, and judicial management applications.

 

Now at ATLO, Zhen Leong handles high-value corporate and commercial disputes. Some highlights include assisting in recovering multi-million-dollar property sale proceeds in Laos, defending shareholders in oppression claims, and challenging expert valuations of company shares.
